Librarians are not what you might think. We are not mild-mannered quiet women and men just waiting to pull dusty tomes off shelves while shushing patrons along the way. We do not wear buns in our hair, sensible shoes and knee-length skirts.

What we ARE, are intelligent, highly educated individuals who can juggle phones, computers and annoying patrons all at the same time. We're vibrant, smart people who don't care if you talk and eat in the library. Oh, and talk it up--we won't shush you!

I have my MLS from UCLA, crazy Reference Desk skills, dyed-red/black spiked hair, and four full-color, highly visible tattoos! Ha! Welcome to the library!
